About the job:

Of course, you’re an award-winning designer, but we’re a branding firm, so you also need to be the kind of person who gets excited about branding and strategy as much as design. Who designs with brand and strategy in mind at all times. Who believes that design without thinking, and attention to detail, is just pretty pictures.

In the studio, you’re organized, manage your time well, and work well with the larger team of designers, writers, project managers and programmers. You can meet tight deadlines with an ability to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. You have all the necessary software skills required to get an idea through to print. You’re not a programmer, but you understand the challenges of designing great solutions that work for online applications.

Requirements:

• 5–7 years hands-on design studio experience
• knowledge of print production
• experience reviewing proofs and attending press approvals
• strong communication skills (written and oral)
• strong time management skills
• ability to think strategically
• able to work independently and within a team
• software: strong skills in Adobe InDesign, QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat; basic understanding of MSOffice suite
